Inn Zombies! That is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Dundee Inn. One could say the place is crawling with them, if it weren't for the fact they're likely too lazy to so much as crawl. The pungent aroma of decayed potential and atrophied spirits greet each patron with unforgiving vigor. Looking beyond the stellar company found aggregating at Jeffrey's Establishment, one will be more than delighted to take note of the gaping, howling abyss positioned nicely at the center of the hall. No worries, a short fence has been erected to ensure safety. Beyond this small deterence, the Inn actually can be quite accomodating at times with its public restrooms and private Loft catering to Nobles. Should you be looking to tempt your pallette with fine delicacies, Jeffrey's is not the place. But should you crave a greasy, fatty, sandwich of near raw Bos meat and melted, moldy cheese washed down with stale ale or sour cider you've found home. Perhaps the only benefit to patronage at Jeffrey's is the curiously effecient Ale Hat which serves not only as a fine fashion accessory but a truly wonderful means to consume ale. |
| Fleur's |
|---|
If you're in the mood for a contagiously chipper atmosphere, replete with disturbingly cheerful amenities Fleur's is the place for you. Although, a bit out of the way for the regular thirsty traveler, being set within the Twenty Two's Guild along Eastern Shore Road, often a small group of reknowned and remarkable adventurers can be found patronizing the cosy pub. So long as you don't mind the earthy scent rolling off the Bromodic Hills en route, often the trek is well worth the effort. A fire warms the room amongst a comfortable hodge podge, as does the company the soul. Whilst no menu of drinks in particular are provided, Fleur herself would seem more than willing to do her best to cater to any guests fancies. Well, within limits, gentlemen. Should one a country stroll, a welcoming crowd, and a few drinks, one should enjoy an evening at Fleur's. |
| Milltown Inn |
|---|
As soon as one enters Milltown Inn, one can feel the weight of his angry, piercing glare. His heavy breathe almost whistles with unabashed disdain for man's very existence whilst he shouts angry triades at just about anyone who will listen. And, that's just Venteli the Innkeeper. The Desert Demon Head mounted on the wall is quite off-putting, as well. All in all, the lively pair can make for an interesting night of entertainment or a convenient conversation starter. Nothing like a Desert Demon Head whistling eerie music to set a mood. And, one cannot forget Milltown Inn remains perhaps the best source of the finest mead in the land. So, take a mug and head upstairs to the inviting fireplace to relax. Imported less than delacacies from Dundee like Turkey Legs and Dundee Burgers are available to appease any appetite. |
| Tavern of Glass |
|---|
Catering to the elitist socialites of Valorn, the Tavern of Glass boasts perhaps one of the most aesthetically pleasing barrooms in all of Valorn. The amenities are well kept, and finely polished to a crisp sheen providing refulgent optical effect. This landmark of Southern Dundee is well known as a reception hall for bondings, guild events, and the favored Order of Norton meetings. Yet for all its resplendent beauty and style, the establishment gets a remarkable turnover of new adventurers passing through to sell various knick-knacks to Jaymes who eagerly collects their junk as seemingly prized possessions. This can make for a quick gathering crowd at slow times but also interrupt celebrations or ceremonies at others. The quality of ale here is quite noteworthy, going down smooth and pure whilst providing for a nice glassy veil to the eyes of travelers which would seem quite fitting to match the hyaline building. All in all, the Tavern of Glass is always a good stop whenst in Dundee. |
| The Swashbuckler |
|---|
Rather dark and dreary, with musty air and reeking of stale ale The Swashbuckler serves to some of the most hardened of maritime mercenaries. This rustic pirate's pub is nestled within the confines of the Remnants of Kimald guild park near its dock upon Lake Valorn and commonly hosts receptions for guild events and bondings. The brews found here are imported direct from Kilican, and taste distinctly of that region's smarmy kick. Perfect for those who enjoy that sort of thing, so long as they don't mind a bit of bittering during the long voyage from Port Perfadis. For non-nobles this is perhaps one of the few places to find genuine Kilican booze, but for nobles I'd suggest just paying the same ferry fee and heading to the source for proper drinkin'. |
| Travellers` Rest |
|---|
One would think he'd stepped into Milltown Inn upon first look at the Travellers' Rest. Animal heads are situated along all the walls. There is even a demon head-- which, by the way, provides quite a warming effect in the otherwise drab, tacky bar. While hardly busy, as the most of Ryndall ever is, the constant chatter of Stranis Strangeglove and Shnithe the Innkeeper keeps the Inn somewhat homely. The ale itself is rather unremarkable. Likely inferior quality brews turned down by Venteli and shipped across the desert to Ryndall. It's almost as if Shrinthe is more interested in peddling his mixed adventurer wares than catering to thirsty Trinaldians. However, of the two watering holes in Ryndall, the Travellers' Rest boasts one remarkable superiority: `NO MAGIC ALLOWED!` If you dislike Stick yeilding, skirt-wearing powder puffs as much as I do, you'll surely appreciate the semi-strick enforcement of this provision by Shnithe. |
