Ben of Admin: Bi-Polarity to the Extreme

A friend of Cory of Admin from yester-years, Ben of Admin was invited to help build the Dark Grimoire in mid-2003. He now serves as the Vice President of Grimoire Entertainment, Inc. and Lead Worldbuilder for the game. He is in essence the face of the Admin team: managing the forums, the storyline, the playerbase, a small team of underling Admins, the world of Trinald, the items, and the creatures. Certainly not a small task. He's finishing up his last year of Law School, and has said to have aspirations to join the FBI fighting pediphiles on the web-- another task he unfortunately has to tend to from time to time in DG.

As a god within the game, Ben has been known to be sarcastic, prone to moodswings, and generally a source of entertainment for the playerbase. Although, less frequently now, Ben can be found appearing in Dundee Inn to tease Inn Zombies, welcome newbies with quests, and smite the occasional nuisance. Most of the time he'll bark at anyone who bothers him, but he's also been known to demand the mortal population to throw grand roleplay parties in his honor.

On the forums Ben makes announcements, writes rules, answers questions, analyzes suggestions, responds to bug reports, and muses on the many aspects of maintaining the community in a Text Browser-based MMORPG like the DG. Over the past 3 years he's gone through a series of enjoyable themes with his forum avatars receiving many raves from players and posted over 5000 times (comprising 10% of the DG Forums total postings).

Often players either love Ben or hate him. Many experience strong ambivalence. However, it is apparent that the man truly cares about this world, despite how many rants he makes about users annoying him, sexual misconduct among players, and how busy he is with law school. One should tread lightly in his presence for he's far quicker to toss you in jail than he is to reward you with a godly blessing.
